Have you experienced JOMO?
I’m loving this new term JOMO that I was told about while on holiday.
Instead of the fear of missing out, it’s the joy of missing out!
It’s such a fabulous reframe to think about the joy you might get from not doing something. For example:
– Feeling clear headed the next day when I decide not to have a few drinks the night before
– Spending time in the garden instead of going to a lunch with friends when I feel run down
– A cosy night at home with my husband because we weren’t fast enough to say we wanted tickets to a gig
I think we all need a little JOMO in our lives.
